RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (R&D) POLICY

Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, guided by its core values of Scientific Rationality, Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Innovation, and Socio-Cultural Contribution, adopts the following Research and Development (R&D) Policy:

• To encourage and support R&D activities aimed at developing high value-added products and technologies that will contribute to the country's economy, science, and knowledge accumulation.
• To establish infrastructures that support the development of technologies which will enrich the region’s resources and increase their value through R&D activities.
• To conduct technology- and innovation-oriented activities that will enable the more effective utilization of the region’s strong potential.
• To sustainably pursue its mission of specialization in the field of Natural and Cultural Heritage Tourism.
• To strengthen university-industry-public sector cooperation and, through the Technopark, promote innovation and productivity by transforming academic knowledge into practical applications.
• To create awareness through training activities on innovation, entrepreneurship, and R&D, thereby fostering a culture of technology.
• To develop and enrich the human resources needed for R&D activities.
• To encourage interdisciplinary, national, and international research collaborations.
• To promote a project-oriented culture among students and ensure their integration into the R&D ecosystem.
• To ensure that R&D activities are conducted in accordance with ethical principles and environmental sustainability.

These principles constitute the Research and Development (R&D) Policy of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University.
