History

Our faculty is established with Business, Economics and International Relations departments dependently Erciyes University with the council of ministers’ decision on 01.09.1997 and the official journal publication on 03.09.1997. The department is not yet active.

Aim of the Programme

The basic aim of international relations programme is to train students who will be able to analyze national and international developments, and to be employed by public and private sector.

Qualification Awarded

Students who have successfully completed this programme are deserve to be awarded bachelor’s degree diploma on international relations.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

To deserve bachelor’s degree diploma on economics, students must succeed all the courses of the programme (total 240 ECTS) at least 2.00 grade point average on 4.00.

Access to Further Studies

Students who have successfully completed this programme can go on graduate education only if they pass ALES exam and have enough skill about English sufficiently.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

There are one midterm and one final exam in every term for each lesson. Each exam’s contribution of succeed point is the weighted average of midterm exam (%40) and final exam (%60). Top point for every exam is 100. Students who have AA, BA, BB, CB, CC letter marks are counted as successful. DC and DD letter marks are conditioned successful marks. Students who have these two marks must have at least 2.00 grade points average to succeed the education process.

Graduation Requirements

To complete the programme successfully the students must have at least 2.00 grade points average on 4.00 and succeed dissertation.

Employment Opportunities

International relations graduates will be able to employed in public enterprises, private sector and in universities as academic staff.
